AWS S3 Storage Connector
AWS S3 Storage connector enables interaction with Simple Storage Service (S3) provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Service Description
There are two component options for configuring a connector to communicate with AWS S3 Storage:
- AWS S3 Storage Receiver Connector
- AWS S3 Storage Sender Connector
Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) is a cloud-based storage service provided by Amazon Web Services. It's designed to store and retrieve data from anywhere on the web. S3 offers scalability, high availability, security features, and low latency for data access. AWS S3 Storage connector stores files on Amazon S3, facilitating file sharing and collaboration between users or systems that have access to those files. AWS S3 Storage connector uses IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies to control access to data on Amazon S3 and increase security.
Follow these steps before starting the integration:
- Get your AWS secret key and access key to access AWS S3 Storage.
- Configure security policies using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) to define access permissions at the required level. Utilize S3's Access Control Lists (ACLs) or security groups to restrict access to data.
- Create credentials for AWS in the Credential tab on the Operations page.
