Test Connectivity

Testing connectivity is an essential step to ensure that your system can successfully establish a connection to remote services, servers, or endpoints. This section allows you to check the connectivity by specifying the host, port, connection timeout, and read timeout parameters. These parameters can help troubleshoot issues related to network access or service availability.

Fields

FieldDescription
HostThe address or hostname of the remote service or server you wish to connect to. This can be an IP address or a domain name.
PortThe port number that the service is listening on. Port numbers are essential for ensuring that the correct service on the host is targeted.
Connection TimeoutThe maximum time (in milliseconds) the system will wait for a connection to be established. If the connection cannot be made within this time, the system will return an error or failure notification.
Read TimeoutThe maximum time (in milliseconds) the system will wait for a response once the connection has been established. If the server does not respond within this time, the system will terminate the connection and return a timeout error.
