ODETTE Converter

The ODETTE Converter allows conversion between ODETTE and XML formats. ODETTE (Organisation for Data Exchange by Tele Transmission in Europe) is a standard format used primarily in the European automotive industry for electronic data interchange.

The converter enables data communication between different applications or systems by converting ODETTE messages into XML format or vice versa. This is especially important when different systems support different data formats. For example, one application may expect data in ODETTE format, while another may require XML. In such cases, the converter facilitates data integration between the two systems.

Conversion Types:​

The ODETTE Converter offers a number of conversion options, each serving specific needs:

  • ODETTE to XML: Parses an ODETTE message and converts it into XML format.

  • XML to ODETTE: Transforms structured XML data into an ODETTE-compliant message.

Configuration Parameters:​

  • Convert Type: Specifies the direction of conversion (ODETTE to XML or XML to ODETTE)
  • Single Line: Option to output the converted data as a single line
