Tradacoms Converter

The Tradacoms Converter allows conversion between Tradacoms and XML formats. Tradacoms (Trading Data Communications Standard) is a UK-based EDI standard widely used in retail and supply chain industries.

The converter enables data communication between different applications or systems by converting Tradacoms messages into XML format or vice versa. This is especially important when different systems support different data formats. For example, one application may expect data in Tradacoms format, while another may require XML. In such cases, the converter facilitates data integration between the two systems.

Conversion Types:​

The Tradacoms Converter offers a number of conversion options, each serving specific needs:

  • Tradacoms to XML: Parses a Tradacoms message and converts it into XML format.

  • XML to Tradacoms: Transforms structured XML data into a Tradacoms-compliant message.

Configuration Parameters:​

  • Convert Type: Specifies the direction of conversion (Tradacoms to XML or XML to Tradacoms)
  • Single Line: Option to output the converted data as a single line
